The Liebster Award

I've been nominated for the Liebster Award by Laura!

11 Random Facts About Me:
1. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters (all of which, apart from one, are younger than me!)
2. Up until the age of 15, I wanted to be either a writer or a graphic designer - now I'm going into Accounting!
3. Really unpopular opinion, but I just don't like animals.
4. I'm currently trying to organise my school's prom, so let me know if you want me to write some posts about that.
5. In an ideal world, I would be going to the gym 3-4 times a week but I haven't actually been in a month (shhh)
6. I love working as an elf, it's one of the best jobs I can imagine
7. This year, I watched both Matilda and Les Miserables on the West End and they were both indescribably brilliant
8. I have a habit of buying sharing packs of sweets, eating about a quarter of them and then leaving them to go old and gross - it really annoys my friends!
9. Last summer, I tried to start a YouTube channel but it just wasn't really my thing
10. I had finished all of my Christmas shopping halfway through November!
11. My favourite Yankee Candle is Red Berry and Cedar and yes, I'm still heartbroken that they've discontinued it.

Laura's questions:
1. Where were you born?
In a hospital in my hometown - the same one my dad and my little sister were born in!
2. Describe yourself in three words.
Focused, enthusiastic, emotional
3. What is your guilty pleasure?
I don't really have one to be honest! I'm pretty open about the things that make me happy.
4. What quality do you appreciate the most in others?
5. What dream do you hope to accomplish someday?
To be known for something I have done/created myself
6. Three things you cannot live without?
My mum,
7. Who are your favourite bloggers?
I think it's still a bit too early on for me to answer this to be honest, I've met some truly lovely people through blogging so far though so check the people that I nominate below!
8. Why did you start blogging?
I was feeling uninspired by life and decided to try something new
9. If you could live anywhere on earth, where would it be?
If I'm honest, I'd really love to settle down in this region of England because I just think it's so beautiful, but I would love to spend some time living in Italy, South Africa and Seattle!
10. What would be the first you’d do if you won the lottery?
By myself a Mini Cooper because I've been pining after one for months!
11. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Okay I swear I didn't see this question when I was saying my facts! When I was really young, I wanted to be a teacher, then a writer, then a graphic designer and now I've applied to Accountancy degrees/qualifications!

I nominate...

Thank you for reading! I'll try to avoid doing any more long posts like this for a while!

  1. Cheers for the nomination lovely! I'll do this soon! xx

    1. Cool, I look forward to reading it! Just a warning that I actually found it really hard to come up with new questions so there's some random ones in there haha! xx

  2. Thank you so much for nominating me Megan! I did the liebster award before so I probably won't do it again but I'm quite bored (or procrastinating from studying for AS mocks) so I'll write the answers below! I apologise now for the long comment...

    1. I can remember, quite vividly, my uncle pushing my dad off a pier into a lake when I was 3/4. It was all out of fun (my family's got a weird definition of fun!) but I remember my mum being so annoyed cause my dad was wearing a coat that she'd bought him for christmas... haha!
    2. Sprinkleofglitter back in 2011! I was, strangely, obsessed with pregnancy and found her channel because she was pregnant with baby glitter. Then I found Zoe through her channel. I also subscribed to loads of singing channels a few years ago because I loved listening to covers.
    3. I can't think of any right now... Apart from getting into our PJ's after christmas eve mass and watching the polar express with hot chocolate then no!
    4. I honestly couldn't name you a particular nail polish but I love black (cause I'm totally badass like that) (I'm kidding, obviously)
    5. I'm actually really disappointed cause I ordered one from ASOS two weeks ago but it's nothing like it was on the website, so I'm planning to send it back. I have a mustard one from Topshop that I quite like... so yes I guess so.
    6. Celebrations 100% with Heros as a close second!
    7. A night - so, like, every two days.
    8. Sadly just English - I did Irish for GCSE but I'm so terrible that I wouldn't even say I speak it. And I dropped French and Spanish before GCSE. I really hate learning languages sadly :(
    9. Twitter but I'd love to use instagram (I haven't got an iphone or a smartphone so I'm kinda stuck there)
    10. About Time, it's cute af.
    11. If only I knew! I'm having a bit of blogger block right now... I'm thinking possibly a post on secret santa with my friends. I also have a post in my drafts with the title 'we found wonderland, you and I got lost in it.' It's a Taylor Swift lyric and I like that title for an OOTD. I just need to get pictures of an outfit first!

Again thanks for nominating me Megan & sorry for making you read all that!! xx

    1. Aha no problem, I love long comments especially ones that are funny like that!
I'd never thought of going for a Mustard coat before, I tend to stick to more neutral colours so they can go with everything!
I feel like I've heard of About Time but I don't think I've ever seen it, what's it about? :)
For me, Christmas is the best time for blogging because there's so many things to write about because I'm super festive but I think I'm going to be in a massive rut come January :(
Thank you for taking the time to answer all the questions anyway, sorry for not realising you'd done it before! x
